Hair Removal Tips

Hair removal: definition
Hair removal = Any liquid / cream /technique used to remove hair from body and face.

Whatever depilation method you decide to use, remember:
the ideal length of the hair for depilation is between 2-5 mm.(up to one-quarter inch). Take care that your skin is dry and oil free.

Hair removal Tips

1. Shaving: Use shaving gel /lotion on hydrate hair. Shave in the opposite direction. After shaving, use a moisturizer and avoid using deodorants for the next 2 hours. Use your own razor or shaver and do not share it!

2. Waxing: Test the heat of the wax on a small area first. Apply the wax. Over the wax apply the cotton strip. Both wax and cotton strip must be applied in the direction of hair growth. Rapidly pull back (it is not quite comfortable...). Try to stay relaxed.

3. Sugaring: Similar to waxing, sugaring is removing hair without being as irritating as waxing. (sugar does not stick to the skin). Use it the same way as use the wax.

4. Depilatory Creams: Test it first on a small area: depilators are chemicals that "burn" off hair, so is not reccommended for very sensitive skin. Soften the hair and open the follicles by applying a warm washcloth to the area. The cream is better absorbed this way. When removing, wipe it off instead of simply rinsing.

5. Hair inhibitor: You can slow down the hair growth process by using hair inhibitor products. Also, hair growth process can be inhibit by using electrolysis or laser hair removal. Electrolysis and laser treatment must be performed by a professional.

6. Electric Shavers Most of women tried at least once. I use it all the time. It is easy and quick, it's easy to cary in your travel bag. From all hair removal options, I choose electric shavers.

Before shaving, you have to use a gel or a cream to hydrate the skin. This helps the razor blade to move smoothly over the skin for close shave. You have to shave in the opposite direction of you hair growth, to assist in getting a clean shave. After shaving, a lotion is recommended to moisturize the shaved skin.
